Failure to read these requirements and not making a serious effort to meet them will result in an instant rejection. They are in red because they are important!
Skimming over them will be evident to us in your application.
Please read all of the following before making your application.
- Use proper spelling and grammar
We aren't English teachers, so we won't get all up in your case if you make a mistake here and there. That said, you are applying for a position on this server. You should make sure your work reflects the best possible you. We don't want a bunch of uncaring, stupid retards playing with us as much as you do, so prove to us that you aren't one. Using capital i's is crucial.
- Title your app "[Your IGN] Application"
Do this, or you will be instantly rejected. If you are making a second (or later) application, use "[Your IGN] Application #2". Example: Youringamename Application #2
- Spell your in-game name correctly!
If you spell your in-game name wrong, then you will need to re-apply using the correct name. You will not be able to re-use your existing application as that, technically, was for a different in-game name. It is case sensitive! Don't waste our time with incorrect spelling - it is 10x more annoying to us then it is to you.
- Do not ask to get your application looked at
Don't even mention your application. In game, or out. If we see anything mentioning your application, we will not only reject it, but set you on fire. Do not bump your app, do not repost your app. Exception: If it has been 48 hours and someone else's applications has had a status change and is now above yours, then you may very, VERY politely ask for it to be looked at.
- Use full sentences.
Excluding the questions "Age," "Real name" and "In game name," you should be writing at LEAST a whole sentence. Preferably more. We don't necessarily want novels here, but again, you are applying for a position. You should be showcasing us your best qualities in as much detail as you can. Remember that a sentence starts with a capital letter and ends with a full stop.
- Read these instructions completely.
We wrote these instructions for a reason. To help prove to us that you really did read these instructions, a hidden question is located in this paragraph. Add it to the end of your application as an additional question, and answer as you would normally. What item do you dislike the most in Minecraft, and why? Make sure you format it correctly.
- Read the rules!
We have server rules to ensure everything is fair. Please read our rules here. Failure to follow our rules will at the very least give you a short stay in jail or a long term ban at the worst. Finding a loop-hole in our rules to do something will also result in punishment.
- Be patient.
It usually takes less than a couple of hours for an application to be judged. Any moderator can do it, and as such there is usually one online within the hour of your post. Do not bump.
- Use formatting, so we can tell your answer from the question easily.
This is something seemingly small, but you really should be trying to go out of your way to make your application look both professional and stand out from the mindless hoard of cretins behind you. Most applications fail because they don't really reflect this crucial section. Something like this is what we want to see. Note the colours, and having the answer on the next line down, with spaces between questions.
- If English isn't your first language, please let us know
We understand people don't learn English as their first language and because of this might have trouble with some of these questions, just put a small note at the end of your application to this effect.
